Meet Eric Hodgson – Your Partner in Resolution
Eric Hodgson, founder of Hodgson Mediation, brings more than 25 years of experience in conflict resolution to the table. After a successful career in corporate labor relations, Eric shifted his focus to public mediation seven years ago. Today, he specializes in helping couples navigate the challenges of separation, divorce, and relationship challenges with clarity and compassion.
Eric’s training is both extensive and grounded in real-world practice. He’s worked alongside respected ADR expert Sylvia Skratek, Ph.D., and completed foundational and advanced mediation training with Sequoia Stalder, Esq., through Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and the New York Center for Interpersonal Development. Eric continued his education by adding couples mediation to his practice, which he attended through the Center for Mediation and Training in Manhattan, NY with reknowned couples and family mediator and therapist Dr,. Ken Neuman.
Eric's hands-on experience includes years of successfully negotiationg agreements between divorcing couples and alternatively helping couples stay together and strengthen their relationships through the art of "talking it out" without it being therapy.
Eric is skilled at creating a calm, respectful space where clients can address deeply personal topics—such as communication breakdowns, financial concerns, intimacy issues, and past trauma. His approach is thoughtful, adaptable, and always client-centered.
